A Passion for Push Puppets, Past and Present
Push Puppet Palace began from my lifelong fascination with Push Puppets. Over the years, I have built up a personal collection of more than 8,500 Push Puppets from around the world, both wooden and plastic, ranging from common everyday examples to rare and unusual designs.
I am passionate about preserving these wonderful toys and the history behind them. In addition to collecting, I enjoy researching their origins, identifying manufacturers and, whenever possible, carefully repairing and restoring older examples so that they can be enjoyed for many years to come.
Many of the Push Puppets offered for sale have been doubles from my own collection, old shop stock, discontinued product lines, or vintage toy collections that I have acquired over the years. My aim is to help fellow collectors, enthusiasts and gift buyers find unusual Push Puppets that are often no longer available in shops.
The majority of these Push Puppets are vintage, discontinued or old stock and may date back many years. They were often hand-painted and hand-finished, so minor variations, age-related marks, small paint imperfections or signs of storage may occasionally be present. Wherever possible, any significant flaws will be described or photographed, but these minor characteristics are often part of the charm, character and authenticity of vintage toys.
