Quality in Vermont - hand crafted in the Green Mountain State

David is a machinist, designer & woodworker creating works of exceptional quality in wood and metal in his home-based studio & workshop.
Currently he has been studying the history, use and design of plumb bobs and has created a series of miniature plumb bobs made from brass and steel, occasionally incorporating ebony, silver and copper elements into the design.
As a skilled woodworker he also specializes in the repair, restoration and design of etz chaim - the large wooden spools that a Torah scroll is rolled upon. He has also completed several commissions for Megillah cases and Mezuzot.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or requests.

We take our Quality in Vermont name very seriously. All of our items are designed and produced in our home studio and workshop and made with care and precision.

When working on etz chaim and designing mezuzot, David describes himself as having "Kavanah", interpreted as having focus, directed mindfulness, and intentionality. This focus is directed at all the finely crafted items offered here.

All items are packed with care to reach you safely. With the intention of reduce, reuse, recycle, we sometimes reuse packing and shipping material that is clean and sturdy.

You can also read more about David's work at davidhalemfa.com and specifically about plumb bobs at miniplumbbobs.blogspot.com.
