5 out of 5 starsI am a graduate instructor of Rhetoric at St. Louis University. I teach a course on Advanced Strategies of Rhetoric under the theme Faith & Doubt. Our students move from writing what is called a “Dissoi Logoi” (albeit modified from its tradition) mid semester, to producing what we call a “Multi-Modal Rhetorical Argument” as the culminating project. I have used digital excerpts of this collection as an example of multi-modal rhetorical engagement for two semesters, and this is the first semester where I was able to bring my students the books as tangible artifact. My students were fascinated and engaged with it both as an object to be studied for its rhetorical value and as a kairotic work of cross-disciplinary invention and “becoming.” This work has directly impacted the lives of 61 young scholars. In short - thank you. :)
