Welcome to aquarsartstudio — where modern precision meets ancient rhythm.
My creative journey is grounded in exploration. The studio name blends a deeply personal heritage with the concept of a "quark"—the smallest, most fundamental building block of matter. In my artwork, this translates to using thousands of tiny, repetitive geometric marks—micro-stamps, fine-line ink work, and rhythmic dots—to build expansive visual landscapes that feel both ancient and modern.
The Art and the Process - Every collection is born from raw, physical materials. I work exclusively on heavyweight, textured archival watercolor paper, letting liquid pigments bleed and pool naturally to create moody, organic atmospheres. From there, I meticulously layer high-contrast black ink geometric columns and shimmering metallic Shmichke paints.
My latest release, The Elements & Botanicals Collection, is heavily inspired by the meditative layout of ancient illuminated manuscripts and historical textiles. It represents a continuous visual narrative that flows from structured, cosmic tapestries down into loose, organic botanical studies. Because of the premium metallic pigments used, the original physical paintings are dynamic—they actively shift, shimmer, and come alive under changing natural light. Our Studio EcosystemI believe in the magic of physical, tangible art.
