Hi! My name is Gabriela and I’m an independent artist. My history as an artist starts from an early age in elementary school when I fell in love with drawing hours, and so I began to practice drawing and painting more and more, led by my drawing teacher. Soon my portraits were featured in schools exhibitions and this is how I started my career as an artist. Born in a communist decade, when art was seen as a waste of time, I had to follow another path in terms of my career. But I never gave up painting and drawing. How could I have given up on “myself”? Soon I grew up and as a teenager I started to love fashion, design and clothes more and more (an inheritance of my grandmother who was a village tailor). I started drawing clothes combining my 2 great passions: illustration and design. Now I want my art to reach the hearts of my clients. It is an honor for me, if someone has my art on the wall of his house, office, or gift. This means more than money, as an artist you feel valued.
