Queercrafter
I originally started this shop to sell only one of my products, which was the only one listed for multiple years--the pride themed friendship bracelets. I wanted to give a cheap option for LGBTQ+ people of many different orientations, genders, and identities who wanted something to speak about themselves with. Most readily available pride merchandise seemed to be sold by straight and cisgender people just trying to profit off of those starving for some sort of representation. When I found actual members of the community selling accessories, I was so happy--and there were so many more options than just rainbows (not that there's anything wrong with rainbows!). I wanted to offer that too.
Getting into bracelet making reminded me how much I love crafts and hands-on type art, so I started experimenting with different mediums for wearable crafts and jewelry. I wound up extremely enjoying metalworking, and have gotten in wire wrapping in specific. I hope to continue to expand my shop as it becomes more successful and I learn new skills.
