A great addition to my Swiss Army knife. The craftsmanship is excellent, solid, precise, and visually appealing. It feels like a high-quality piece that’s built to last and complements the knife perfectly. That said, buyers should be aware of the impact of U.S. tariffs, which can significantly increase the final price, nearly doubling the cost in my case. While the product itself is impressive, the added expense is definitely something to factor into your decision.

I recently received a custom Cordovan strop from José and I am extremely pleased with it. The craftsmanship is excellent, the leather is beautiful, and the quality is evident from the moment you hold it. The draw is smooth and consistent, making stropping both enjoyable and effective. I highly recommend José’s strops to anyone looking for a high-quality handcrafted product. Recientemente recibí una correa de Cordovan hecha por José y estoy muy satisfecho con el resultado. La calidad de fabricación es excelente, el cuero es hermoso y se nota el cuidado puesto en cada detalle. La sensación al asentar es suave y consistente. Recomiendo totalmente sus correas a cualquiera que busque un producto artesanal de alta calidad.

Excellent hard-wearing simple wallet. Enough space for two or more cards and some notes, without being too bulky. My only small complaint was that I couldn't specify the lining and it came with a different one than I had expected from the photograph. Still nice though.

Leather by hand for a life

Leather goods for people with an active life, oriented to the outdoors and daily bearing, with adventurous style and designed for an intense use in any environment.

All the articles are handmade by the saddler Jose R. Melchor, in leathers personally selected in origin, from traditional Castilian and Galician tanneries, with vegetable tanning process with oak tannin, acacia and rhododendron.

Treated with oils and waxes to make them more durable and waterproof thus achieving exceptional durability.

Artículos de cuero para personas con una vida activa, orientada a al aire libre y porte diario, con estilo aventurero y pensadas para un uso intesivo en cualquier ambiente.

Todos los artículos estan realizados a mano por el guarnicionero Jose R. Melchor, en cueros seleccionados personalmente en origen, procedentes de curtidurías tradicionales castellanas y gallegas, con proceso de curtido vegetal al tanino de roble, acacia y rododendro.

Tratadas con aceites y ceras para hacerlas mas duraderas e impermeables consiguiendo asi una durabilidad excepcional.
