It can be difficult and overwhelming to tell a story about the Holocaust. The author did an incredible job of personalizing the story. I loved the art work and the human-ness that it conveyed. Creative and truly an example of the many ways we can preserve and share our family stories.

This is a poignant reflection on 9/11 that imparts rich mindfulness of the vast experiences of those who witnessed the tragedy beyond one's self. It's told from a family's multiple perspectives. Drawn with bold chiaroscuro, it's a square booklet of 10 pages, 9 drawn and a page of endnotes, wholly meeting and exceeding what I expected.
