How to keep brass shiny ✨✨ Part 1
KEEP YOUR BRASS SHINY ✨ (don't do this for dark antique brass!)

1st up: put your earrings in AFTER hairspray etc. and keep them dry. brass doesn't like water 🙅⠀⠀

Cleaning Supplies:⠀⠀
Flour⠀⠀
Salt⠀⠀
Distilled White Vinegar⠀⠀
Large Plate or Bowl⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Method:⠀⠀
Mix your flour, salt, and vinegar into a paste by mixing thoroughly. The measurements do not have to be precise but around 1/2 cup flour, 2 tbs. salt and around 2-3 tablespoons of vinegar will do if you're cleaning several pieces. (I USED HALF THIS RECIPE and twice as much vinegar). Cover your brass completely with the paste – inside, outside, and everywhere.⠀⠀

Allow your mixture to sit on the brass for around 10 minutes. (Mine worked immediately-I just rubbed it in with my fingers) -After that time, rinse the brass with warm water and dry thoroughly. (THOROUGHLYYYY) After a few hours or a few days you may notice some of your streaks coming back. That’s okay – just clean it again. And remember drying thoroughly is a HUGE part of the process.⠀⠀
