Fits the FT-891's control head very well. Allowed me to finally remote mount the control head in a convenient location.

Significant improvement over the first generation, the hole for the cable makes a ton of difference.

The part is a careful replica of a hard-to-find manufacturer's original. I broke the original when de-installing the car radio.

This is an expertly crafted control head mounting bracket for the FT-891. The fit and finish of this bracket is top notch and needed zero adjustment before being used to mount my FT-891's control head in my vehicle. If I had to put a finger something that could be done better, it would perhaps be the mounting holes that are built into the piece. The way they are in the current design, they force your mounting plate to be attached offset from center rear. Does this detract from the product's usability? No. It's really just an asthetic type of thing. Other than that, this is a high quality piece of kit for my mobile radio installation. Highly recommended.

Nice FT891 head mount! I had to put some PTouch tape on the top to mark the lock and release points for the head unit to make mounting the head easier. Unit is accurately 3D printed. suggestions. Make the mount about 5mm deeper to make more room for the bend of Control head cable. And make screw hole in the right position.
