A Magnolia In The Rubble

I love having cross stitch as a creative outlet. For my 8th birthday party I received my first cross stitch kit. I've always picked it up, and dropped it over the years. I loved creating, but could never find a pattern I could relate to, or inspired me to finish it and frame it.

Finally, in 2013, while working on some grandma-like pieces of cross stitch I decided if I couldn't buy the pattern I want, I'd have to make one myself.

There is something wonderful in meshing two different concepts and somehow creating a master piece. This is why you will see many "old school" designs mixed with fun, witty (and sometimes naughty) phrases and pictures.
