Random Gatherings………
My creative ventures have taken many different paths over the years. My first love was cross stitch, next I dabbled in pottery (making small animal figures and wind chimes), then moved on to fabric crafts (though I don't care much for sewing), and finally I made a little jewelry.
In 2002 my husband lost the factory job he'd had for almost 21 years and we were quickly in need of additional income. He is a self-taught welder so we decided to try our hand at "found object metal art". Combined with our love of antiques, this has become the perfect choice for us.
This shop came about as a way to pass on supplies I no longer need. I do occasionally still pick up bits and pieces I think may be useful to someone else in the arts and crafts world. You will find some of those here as well as other small vintage items that I have collected.
