The Snuffle Squad: A Piggy Tale
Once upon a time, in a cozy little corner of the world, three potbelly pigs found the forever home they never knew they needed.
It all began in 2016, when we welcomed our very first piggy—Charlotte. We didn’t know much about life with a pig, but we dove in headfirst with open hearts and a mountain of curiosity. And wow… was it an adventure from the start.
Charlotte quickly proved she wasn’t your average pig.
She was a queen.
She huffed.
She puffed.
She made it crystal clear that no one—not a human, squirrel, or even a gust of wind—was allowed near her food bowl.
But when the day was done, Charlotte would burrow beneath a sea of blankets, curl up into the coziest piggy loaf, and drift off into dreamland—snoring the sweetest little snores as she imagined wild adventures with piglets she hadn’t even met yet.
Fast forward six years. With our kids off at college, the house grew quieter... maybe a little too quiet. That’s when two more piggies in need found their way into our lives: a brother-and-sister duo named Archie and Hazel.
Archie, the big softie, wears his heart on his hooves. When he gets nervous, a tiny mohawk magically appears—his signature style. He loves belly rubs, chomping on dandelions, and is happiest snuggled beside his little sister for a piggy nap.
Hazel, on the other hoof, is a pint-sized firecracker. Small but fierce, she has big opinions and isn’t afraid to oink them. Her favorite thing in the whole oinkiverse? Spa days. A warm bubble bath, a treat (or five), and a fresh towel from the dryer—that’s Hazel’s idea of bliss.
And just like that, our piggy family was complete.
Charlotte, now the self-declared Queen P, took her rightful place as ruler of the piggy kingdom—keeping the youngsters in check and the blanket stash well-stocked. Archie brought the calm, Hazel brought the chaos (and the bubbles), and together, they brought joy.
They became more than just pets.
They became a family.
They became… the Snuffle Squad.
And every single day, they remind us—and anyone lucky enough to meet them—that life is better with a little oink, a lot of love, and a blanket fort or two.
