Like everything else at Rara Forma, our finishes are done entirely by hand.

Our Brushed Brass finish is unlacquered but hand-waxed to preserve the finish. It will darken and develop a natural patina over time. If you wish to maintain the original finish, polishing cloths or compounds can be used periodically.

Our Aged Brass finish is a naturally aged brass. It is unlacquered but hand-waxed to preserve the finish. It will darken and develop a natural patina over time. Periodic waxing will help maintain and protect the original look.

Shades and color-matched parts are powder coated for a vibrant, durable, colored finish. Dust or wipe clean with a soft, micro-fiber cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

The current lead time can be found in each listing. All of our items are made to order so they are not in-stock or ready to ship. We are a one-person operation and everything is done in-house by hand. Our lead time time is based on our current order volume so expedited manufacturing is not an option. We do, however, try to keep a small offering of Quick Ship items that ARE ready to go. They are listed explicitly as Quick Ship and are available only in the colors, finishes and quantities listed.
