Raspberry Blonde
Sewing and creating has been a part of my life since I was small. My mother taught me to sew and cross-stitch at an early age, and my father instilled a passion for repurposing everyday things to create anything you can imagine.
I started sewing more when my first son was born. I had a vision of all the special touches I wanted for his nursery, but could never quite find the exact color combination, style, or fabrics I had in mind so I started making what I wanted myself. After a while, I realized others might like my ideas too and after much planning, opened my Etsy shop.
My designs are inspired by patterns and color with an eye toward combining fun with a level of sophistication. I love mixing up fabrics and color combinations so each item is truly one of a kind. Everything created in my shop is made with meticulous attention to detail and great care for a long lasting, quality product.
Because my designs are all crafted from new products, I have an awareness of my environmental impact. I make an effort to use every piece of material I have and recycle what can’t be incorporated into my designs. When I have time, I love the challenge of hunting down remnants, knowing I can use them in a beautiful new design so they won’t go to waste. I try to purchase fabric brands that are committed to ethical production. My packaging is eco-friendly made by EcoEnclose.
I love to support other sellers and small businesses. Many of my fabrics and other materials are sourced right here on Etsy or purchased from my local quilt shop.
