RavenandCedarStudio

My name is Daina — an Illustrator working out of Bloomington, Minnesota. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, my artwork centers around my love for the natural world and the stories that tie us to our roots.

My work takes from these concepts to build pieces that speak to my love for nature and story telling through art. I am specifically drawn to myth and how our ancestors shared stories to connect with the natural world around us. Each piece of artwork I create is all drawn from liminal landscapes, Norse and Celtic influence or mythological themes.

My illustrations themselves are done digitally by using Procreate for ipad. Outside of digital illustrations, all other work is done by hand by myself giving each commission respect for authentic art.
