When I moved into a new apartment a couple of years ago -- my first solo living space -- I wanted plenty of art for the walls, especially historical prints. I found a great old map online but the scanned version just wasn't worth printing: it showed a sticker attached to the original map for indexing purposes sometime in the last couple of decades, not to mention a century's worth of folds, tears, and discolorations. It was a long labor of love, but I eventually restored it and that beautiful print is still on my wall. Along the way, I realized that I enjoyed the process of bringing back these vintage images for contemporary enjoyment -- and wanted to keep going. This store is the result of that work. Enjoy!
