Reasonable Attempt Co. cards are inspired by real love poems written during a marriage.

For more than fifteen years, my husband wrote me little poems signed from two characters he invented: Lil’ Fluff and Big Fluff.

Lil’ Fluff is the one with the big heart and questionable impulse control.

Big Fluff is his conscience — the internal voice of reason trying to guide him toward better decisions.

The poems were funny, sweet, occasionally (ok, I’ll be honest, mostly) inappropriate, and always honest about one thing:

Life and marriage are full of good intentions that don’t always turn out exactly as planned.

Eventually I realized those poems had quietly created a whole little world of characters and conversations.

So I turned them into a card line.

Reasonable Attempt Co. cards celebrate the universal human experience of:

Pure intentions.
Questionable execution.
Still trying.

Lil’ Fluff is still doing his best.

Big Fluff is still trying to help.

And the conversation between them continues.
