Long time Etsy customer, first time running a shop here. I've been creating mixed media art for a while, but only recently began selling it. In addition to making art, I'm a writer and was a poetry & "misfit document" editor for over 15 years. I love quirky and unusual, especially the mixing of medias and genres. The more layers, the better.

I find it challenging to describe my creations, whether it be visual or writing, because I work from an intuitive space. My desire is for everything to speak for itself. The closest I can come to an artist statement is that when I make something, I'm chipping off a tiny piece of trauma, processing it and then replacing it with something better and healthier. I speak not only of personal, but the world's trauma. Each artistic creation, in some small way, transforms what ails us all.
