My daughter and I started RecordHunters in July of 2015 after we discovered a large vinyl collection at a local yard sale. We could not accept the possibility of these treasures from the past winding up in a landfill if no one bought them. As a musician, and someone who still has my vinyl collection from the 70’s and 80’s, I knew we must save these records and make sure others can experience the warmth and fullness of sound that you get from vinyl (something that we’ve lost in the current era of digital recordings and production). Not to mention, some of this music is only available on vinyl, if you can find it.

We’re now on the hunter for vinyl every chance we get, and hope you find what you’re looking for on our site. My entrepreneurial daughter (age 13) runs the day to day functions of posting items to the website, so we like to keep things simple. We try to only list items that are free of scratches and visible damage, but please keep in mind, these are vintage items and they will have some normal wear and tear (used but not abused).
