Jason is a long-time wood and leatherworking sadist with a knack for making gorgeous toys that delight and distress his slave, tara. After years of making paddles, gags, cuffs, and rope to use on his masochistic muse, Jason is designing and creating them for kinksters here on Etsy.
Jason's Paddle Process:
Every paddle is thoughtfully designed using CAD software to achieve the ideal center of mass and appropriately weighted handle. In the workshop, the wood is selected, based largely, on its inherent beauty and strength. Before it's shaped, the paddle is hand planed, exposing the grain beneath, in curled wooden ribbons and paper-thin shavings.
Once cut, the paddle is sanded to a smooth texture, drawing out the subtle undertones in the wood grain. Finally, it's finished with our custom wood conditioner to nourish and protect the wood's natural fibers.
Rope:
Hand-conditioned for Shibari, Hojojutsu, Kinbaku, and suspension style bondage, each rope is meticulously inspected to ensure a consistent texture, free of hemp's coarse debris. Boiled, stretched, singed, washed, and hand treated with 100% Jojoba oil to protect and nourish the organic fibers, making this rope, soft, supple, and ready-to-use. Each rope is finished with our fray-proof whipping in your choice of color at no extra charge.
