Painter becomes Metalsmith!
First off, I must say, that I am extremely passionate about what I do! Each and every piece is a one of a kind created with love. I am careful not to force a design but rather just let it evolve. I believe in letting the creative subconscious flow.
Growing up I remember making jewelry, but I was focused on & went to school for Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture. It wasn't until some life changing experiences that I started down this path. Something about it felt right so I went back to school and learned the art of Metalsmithing. I discovered my love of working with metal. I try to take a class every year to learn new techniques & improve upon what I already know. I am a firm believer in evolving & growth. I hope to bring designs to the table that have never been seen before. I like the terms "cutting edge" and "outside of the box".
I am most grateful for those of you who appreciate handmade art. Without you I would not be able to live my dream! We are in this together! I feel like I owe you outstanding designs of the highest quality! I am most satisfied as an artist when I know that my jewelry brings someone joy. I hope to change the world a little bit by bringing out some smiles and inspiring beauty.
I've been showing/selling my work at Art Shows for many years now. I love meeting my customers & getting their feedback. Most of all I love to see the smiles on their faces when they try on my jewelry and feel beautiful. It's very rewarding for me!!!!
