Professional Scrap booking
I come from a long line of crafters and DIYers. My mom, aunts, grandmas could all sew and crochet. Crafting is in my blood! I started crafting when I was a young girl. My first passion was scrapbooking. The first one I ever made was for a classmate of mine who had a rare degenerative neurological disorder. As her condition deteriorated, I made her a scrapbook with pictures of her family and friends. This became a most prized possession for her and her family and started my love for paper crafting.
After college, a friend of mine and I struggled to figure out what we want to do when we grow up. We came to the conclusion that we had a lot of interests that didn't really equate to typical 8-5; Monday-Friday jobs. One day I said I wish someone would pay me to scrap book. Wouldn't that be great?
Time when on and I still wanted to get paid to scrap book. A co-worker of mine, who knew my passion for crafts, showed me a wonderful site called Etsy. Shortly after I setup my shop and began crafting shadow boxes to list in my shop. That quickly morphed into decorative letters, which lead to new door hanger and wood block lines. Now I am staying home with my son and my Etsy shop helps provide for my beautiful family! It has been a great journey and I can't wait to see where it takes me next.
