How Red Thicket was created
I have always loved crafting. About 7 years ago I began crafting on a bigger scale and with my sister I came up with a few craft ideas to create, share and teach with a class full of our friends and everyone loved it. I learned about Etsy and decided to give it a try to sell the items I created online. My shop was created. I really enjoyed the projects I made, the people I met and online friendships I made
Discovering the online world I started a blog to go with my Etsy shop. After a couple of years my blog started taking up most of my time and I found myself creating less and less items for my Etsy shop while I became busier with my blog.
After several years and feeling a lot of stress I have found that I have really missed creating items for my Etsy shop. Creating crafts is my happy place. So I have decided to put my blog (and stress) on hold and am returning to my shop - and I am so excited to be back! I feel like I have grown so much over the last 7 years. My shop is back but under a new name - Red Thicket. I have new ideas, crafts to share and am so excited in this next adventure of my life.
