I L O V E treasure!
I started Aloma's Antiques many many moons ago. It started because of my love for finding things. Because of my fond memories as a child going to the quant little church thrifts, with squeaky wood floors, smells of "old lady perfumes" and musty fabrics. Growing up in San Diego my mom, gramma and aunt always thrifted and I never lost my wanderlust for those fantastic shops. I've been chasing junk since I was a kid, Back before "dumpster diving" and roadside discards were thought of as anything other than that..... Later in life I realized I had a knack for flipping things. And then the focus went to refinishing furniture items. I even opened an antique shop for awhile but soon realized my love of finding the darn things has always been at my core and that's what continues to drive me today.
I now live in midwest Missouri which is basically right smack dab in the middle of the US with only a few hours drive to ANYwhere amazing! So now I get to travel and hunt all NEW amazing treasures in America's heartland!!!
