Refined by Fire was born from one of the hardest seasons of my life.
In 2023, my family and I experienced homelessness, and I went through a deep mental and emotional breaking point. It was a time where everything felt out of control—but through it, I learned that God was the only one truly in control.
I had always tried to hold everything together on my own, but that season forced me to surrender. And in that surrender, God began to change me.
While rebuilding my life, I developed a deep desire to create a home—one that felt warm, peaceful, and full of purpose. What started as simply wanting a “homey” space turned into a passion for cooking from scratch, learning new skills, and caring for my family’s health and well-being.
Over time, doors began to open. I was blessed with stability, provision, and the ability to grow in ways I never imagined. What once felt like brokenness became the foundation for something new.
Refined by Fire represents that journey—walking through trials, being shaped through them, and coming out stronger with faith at the center.
Everything I create is rooted in that transformation: faith-filled living, comforting meals, creativity, and building a home with intention.
My prayer is that what you find here brings warmth, encouragement, and a reminder that even in life’s hardest seasons, something beautiful can be built.
