ReformedSchool is combining art, fashion, and eco friendly materials together to create unique items you can wear and adorn your home.
Visit our full site at www.Reformed-School.com
Our pre-tied bow ties and lapel pins are made from combinations of recycled/found fabrics and new materials. Our bow ties come on adjustable neck bands for adults and children. We can accommodate larger/smaller neck sizes or other customizations, just send me a message!
Our ties are all pre-tied due to textile combinations that cannot be accomplished with self ties. So you get style without the effort of learning to tie a bow tie!
ReformedSchool's artwork is all made using felt made of 100% recycled plastic bottles and repurposed materials. Most of the apparel is also made of a blend of recycled materials when possible.

ReformedSchool is combining art, fashion, and eco friendly materials in all of its offerings.
After a career as a professional dancer and arts educator, Peter's up-cycled products began in an Entrepreneurship class at Columbia College Chicago. He began making grocery totes out of t-shirts he no longer wore, but held sentimental value.
ReformedSchool grew out of that project and a style conundrum. Peter wanted a bow tie made from denim and could not find one at any local retailers. He played with a number of options and decided to cut up a pair of old jeans which I no longer fit to fashion the tie. Whenever he wore the denim tie, people asked where they could get one. He looks for interesting prints and fabrics (both new & used), such as leather pants, scarves, shirts, skirts, and other non-traditional materials to use for his bow ties. Using recycled/repurposed materials limits the number of ties making them very unique and limited.
ReformedSchool's product line is growing and now includes enamel pins, t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, stickers, mugs, magnets, and pillows. While our product line has grown, so has our mission; to use fashion and accessories as an educational tool and conversation starter.

Frequently asked questions
Where is my order?
“Pre-transit” means it is still in the hands of USPS and it will be in transit very soon. Follow your package using the tracking number I sent to your email.
Where is it? There have been huge delays for USPS due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and the cuts made by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy.
For example, some orders were received after 12 business days and were sent Priority Mail in Chicago (same city). It could take 3 days but it could also up to 6 weeks. USPS has been very unpredictable. I have no control of your package after it leaves my home. Please give it time, it will get to you. Thank you for your patience.
