WHAT SIZES ARE THE PIECES AVAILABLE IN?
Our most popular size is the smallest (9.5cm x 14.5cm), but we also make bigger sizes too (9.5x19.5 & 18.5x30). We create "Relic" pieces by hand - therefore each piece is entirely unique - no two pieces are the same.
WHEN WILL I RECIEVE MY PIECE ONCE I'VE PAID?
We aim to create and despatch your piece within a week of receiving your order.
In the UK we send via Royal Mail 2nd Class free of charge, which estimates delivery between 2-3 business days from despatch.
International postage is available for an additional charge of £4. This could take over a week to arrive depending on your location. In the US we participate in the Etsy Free Postage scheme for orders over a certain value.

WHAT IS A FLORENTINE RELIC?
A relic is the common name for an item that has significant religious or sentimental value. During the Renaissance period in Florence, Italy, it was common for artworks to be directly painted on to gilded wood. Our pieces aim to recreate the look and feel of those relics using more modern techniques.
Our pieces are not gilded with real gold, instead we use ultra-realistic copper-based leaf to achieve an amazing finish at a very affordable price.
ARE THE PIECES BRAND NEW?
Our pieces are crafted to appear as relics. This means they are made to look worn, scratched, chipped and tattered even though they're brand new. A relic finish, otherwise known as an ageing or distressing process, varies in outcome like any other hand-designed item - therefore no two items are the same.
WHAT IS "CREATE YOUR OWN"?
It is now possible for you to order a piece, exactly how you want it. You can choose the artwork, size, wood stain and embellishment. Make sure to follow the steps and check your choices carefully! We will not accept returns on any "Create Your Own" pieces. Please allow a few extras days for these to be created and despatched.
WHERE CAN I DISPLAY THE PIECES?
You could show them off wherever you please, but the most common places to display them are on the wall, bed-side tables, fire surrounds and occasional tables. Wherever you have an empty space in your home in need of some inspired artwork, we have the perfect artwork in the perfect size.
HOW DO YOU WRAP AND DELIVER MY PIECE OF ART?
All pieces are carefully packaged in tissue paper to prevent any surface damage and reduce the impact of moisture, and then snuggly encased in a premium bubble wrap envelope to prevent any impact damage. So far we have a 100% "no damage" record and no deliveries have been lost.
