RetnaDesignCo – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how and when RetnaDesignCo (“I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, and shares information when you purchase a digital product from my shop, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com and its related sites and services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third-party services you may access through Etsy. Please review Etsy’s own Privacy Policy for information about how Etsy collects and processes your personal data.


1. Information I Collect

To provide my services and fulfil your order, I may receive certain information that you authorize Etsy to provide to me, such as:

— Your name
— Your email address
— Information about the products you purchase
— Information you provide when contacting me through Etsy Messages
— Additional information you voluntarily provide in connection with a custom or personalized design request

I do not receive or store your full payment card details. Payment processing is handled through Etsy and its payment service providers.


2. Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It

I rely on several legal bases to collect, use, and process your information, including:

— To provide my services, fulfil digital orders, provide customer support, answer questions, resolve disputes, and assist with download or file-related issues

— When you have provided your consent, which you may withdraw at any time

— When necessary to comply with legal obligations, tax requirements, bookkeeping requirements, court orders, or legal claims

— For legitimate business interests, such as operating and improving my shop and services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights or interests

— To comply with the Etsy Seller Policy, Etsy Terms of Use, and other applicable Etsy requirements

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share personal information only for limited reasons and in limited circumstances.

Etsy

I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide my services and comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.

If I use trusted third-party services for business operations, file delivery, cloud storage, accounting, or technical support, information may be shared only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide those services.

Business Transfers

If I sell, merge, restructure, or transfer all or part of my business, customer information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, only where permitted by law.

Compliance with Laws

I may collect, use, retain, and share information if I have a good-faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to:

I do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Order and transaction records may be retained for up to five (5) years where necessary for these purposes. After the applicable retention period, information under my control will be deleted or securely disposed of where reasonably possible.

RetnaDesignCo operates through Etsy and may use service providers located in different countries.

If you purchase from outside the country where I or a service provider operates, your information may be transferred to and processed in another country where privacy and data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence.

8. California Privacy Notice

For California residents, I do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable California privacy law.


9. Children’s Privacy

My shop and services are intended for a general audience. I do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When changes are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy will be revised.
