Each piece is chosen for its craftsmanship, character, and the warm charm of European mid-century and retro design.
Our Story
My passion for vintage began when I was just twelve years old. While other kids collected toys, I collected forgotten objects—rescuing old lamps, chairs, and décor from being thrown away and bringing them back to life. My grandfather Franc played a big role in shaping this passion. He believed that almost anything could be repaired and appreciated again, and his approach taught me to see value where others saw waste.
What began as a small personal hobby slowly grew into a lifelong commitment to preserving the beauty of European design. Over time, I developed a deep love for retro pieces from Yugoslavia and Italy, known for their bold shapes, quality materials, and unique character. This became the foundation of our shop.
Today, we are a small family business from Slovenia—and each member of our family contributes to the journey:
My brother actively helps me search for new pieces. Together we travel across Slovenia, Italy, and many other European countries—often spending days on the road in our van, exploring markets, fairs, and hidden places where forgotten treasures still wait to be found. He also helps with listings and customer communication.
My father carefully packs every item so that it arrives safely at its new home, no matter how far it travels.
My mother thoroughly cleans each piece before photography and before shipping, revealing its original beauty and preparing it for its next chapter.
My grandfather supports us with lighter repairs and shares the same wisdom that inspired me as a child.
My grandmother, a skilled seamstress, helps with upholstery and fabric restoration, giving chairs and stools fresh life.
Together, we restore what needs restoring and preserve what is already beautiful. Lamps get new wiring, chairs are reupholstered, surfaces are refreshed—and every item is treated with care and respect.
Our mission is simple: to save high-quality vintage pieces, honor their history, and send them to homes where they will be truly appreciated.
