For people who actually care about their cars
I grew up in the 1980s and 90s in a world of hot hatchbacks, Cosworths and big German saloons. Old car magazines, club nights and rallying set the tone early on, and I’ve never really grown out of it.
Retro-Motoring started because I couldn’t find decent keyrings for the cars I liked. There were plenty of cheap, generic things online, but very little that felt right next to a well-looked-after classic. So I began drawing my own designs and making small batches for myself and friends. That slowly turned into this shop.
Every design starts with the car itself. I work from photos and period references to get the proportions and little details where they should be. The artwork is created digitally, then turned into laser-cut acrylic or printed inserts for the medallion keyrings. Each piece is cut, assembled and checked by me to order, not in a factory somewhere anonymous.
The shop is run by one person, so what you see here is what I actually make. Orders are packed by hand and shipped within the times shown on each listing. If there’s ever a problem with an order, you’ll be dealing with the same person who designed the keyring, not a customer-service script.
I’m also happy to do small custom tweaks where possible - things like number plates, colours, or specific model details. If you don’t see your car listed, or you’ve got something a bit unusual, send me a message and we can see what’s possible.
Most of my customers are classic car owners who want a small, solid reminder of the car they’ve worked hard to keep on the road. If that’s you, you’re in the right place - and if you’d like to share photos of your car with its new keyring, I’d love to see them.
