It all started in 2014, when Peter bought his first vintage ceramic vases at a market in Germany. He quickly discovered the world of ceramic collectors and became more and more passionate about vintage ceramics and glass.

Peter wanted to start an online shop, and Etsy turned out to be the perfect place to offer these special pieces. In 2015, Eveline joined the business and RetroVases / Tradenexpo slowly grew into a professional family company.

Today, we run several online shops on Etsy and eBay, specializing in vintage European pottery and glass. Over the years, our small team has grown, and everyone has their own tasks. Together, we share the same goal: finding, presenting and safely shipping beautiful vintage ceramic and glass pieces to collectors all over the world.

Most of our orders are shipped internationally. We know that international shipping has an impact on the environment, so we try to pack as responsibly as possible. At the same time, vintage items are fragile and need very careful protection, especially when they travel across the world.

That is why we often use recycled boxes, bubble wrap, foam and other packing materials. The packaging may not always look brand new or fancy, but the most important thing is that your order arrives safely and undamaged.

All orders are shipped insured. There is no risk for the buyer — we take full responsibility for safe delivery.
