Announcement    Welcome to our shop. The materials found here are mostly sourced from two large European Collections that have been in our family for many decades. One distinguishing fact is that we have an assortment of unused Trade-Samples that were, In the 19th Century, directly derived from the original German Printers. Some of our artifacts were property of a person who traveled far and wide cultivating sales opportunities internationally. The unused samples have been tucked away for over 120 years and are now just seeing the light of the 21st Century. Our materials have been stored under excellent archival conditions. What we offer is devoid of mildew or other insults that plague old paper. However, we will disclose in our description any exceptions to said quality since not all our materials are unused. We guarantee the authenticity of our items to be antique and not modern reproductions unless otherwise stated. Important Note: Its best to move old paper with a spatula or tool to lift or slide the piece avoiding the edge(s).

Its especially important to open the 3D Fold-Outs with Care, avoiding the contact with the edges.

It may be best to mount onto a stiffer (acid free-archival) backing, the paper items, using double sided archival adhesive tape. Matt Mounting and Framing some of these works is a great way to safely display them. Best to keep all paper art out of direct sunlight and consider UV protective glass for framed treasures.
