Soy diseñadora de interiores, y me encanta compartir mi estilo con amigos y clientes. No todos obtienen la misma emoción en una tienda de segunda mano mohosa o en una venta de propiedades abarrotada, pero ME ENCANTA rescatar un tesoro pasado por alto. Es casi como si fuera mi trabajo salvar artículos vintage huérfanos. Algunas personas adoptan niños o perros... ¡Traigo sillas a casa!
En Etsy en varias formas desde casi el comienzo de Etsydom. Hice joyas: algunas de suéteres reciclados y mi trabajo se metió en un par de libros. Vendió ropa vintage a muchos clientes satisfechos en todo el mundo. Entre medias, he trabajado en tiendas de consignación, una galería de artesanías y he gestionado una tienda de segunda mano sin fines de lucro. Incluso hizo algunos anuncios de televisión, compartiendo ideas para sacar más provecho de los hallazgos vintage. Pero mi verdadero amor siempre ha sido el diseño de los espacios en los que vivimos.
Estoy tratando de mantenerme enfocado en el estilo que siempre me ha gustado más. Materiales rústicos, formas gruesas, pátina vintage y aquí y allá, un toque de color. De vez en cuando algo sorprendentemente dulce o kitsch llegará a la colección, porque todos tenemos muchas facetas en nuestras personalidades y amores. A veces haré cosas, y algunas prendas vintage se agregarán a la mezcla.
En 5º grado, escribí en un periódico escolar que quería "tener mi propia tienda donde venderé mis perchas de plantas de macramé". Ahora ubicado en el centro de Tucson en 40 W Broadway. (Todavía tengo que volver a la macramé ...)

I am an interior designer, and I love to share my style with friends and clients. Not everyone gets the same thrill in a musty thrift store or crowded estate sale, but I LOVE rescuing an overlooked treasure. It is almost like it is my job to save orphaned vintage items. Some people adopt kids or dogs...I bring home chairs!
On Etsy in various guises since almost the beginning of Etsydom. Made jewelry: some out of recycled sweaters and my work got into a couple of books. Sold vintage clothing to many happy customers across the globe. In between I have worked in consignment shops, a craft gallery and managed a non-profit thrift store. Even done some TV spots, sharing ideas for making more out of vintage finds. But my real love has always been design of the spaces we live in.
I am trying to keep myself focused on the style I have always loved best. Rustic materials, chunky shapes, vintage patina and here and there, a pop of color. Occasionally something surprisingly sweet or kitschy will make it in to the collection, because we all have many facets to our personalities and loves. Sometimes I will make things, and some vintage clothes will get added to the mix.
In 5th grade, I wrote in a school paper that I wanted "to have my own shop where I will sell my macrame plant hangers." Now located in downtown Tucson at 40 W Broadway. (Still gotta get back into the macrame...)
