Minimalist West Coast Souvenirs, Canadian Gifts & Pride Designs by Rob604: Celebrating BC, LGBTQ+ Pride & the Delightfully Weird
Hey! I’m Rob of Rob604designs, a Ukrainian-Canadian artist in the Pacific Northwest creating original apparel, pins, stickers, and accessories. My shop features hundreds of designs: PNW apparel, West Coast souvenirs, Canadian gifts, regional BC keepsakes, Ukrainian pride pins, and LGBTQIA+ buttons: all made to celebrate communities, mark memories, and share a little joy, humour, or pride. My clean, minimalist, versatile, and wearable designs reflect the landscapes of Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, Whistler, Kamloops, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, and the small towns I explored across BC, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan Valley, Fraser Valley, and Washington.
I design every piece myself and work with trusted Canadian printers to bring them to life. My made-to-order approach reduces waste, avoids overproduction, and ensures each item reflects care, quality, and intention. I choose partners who are reliable, ethical, and aligned with my values, so you can feel confident with every purchase.
My work is about connection, diversity, and self-expression. I believe in infinite diversity, bold self-expression, and a love for the delightfully weird. As a queer youth, I spent time in downtown Vancouver (Granville, Denman, Chinatown, Davie), Granville Island, Kits, and East Van, Commercial Drive, and Kingsway: surrounded by DIY culture, print shops, multiculturalism, good food, live music, community halls, and creative spaces.
I’m inspired by quirky subcultures, campy cult films, online communities, and even the furry fandom, which guides how I design and show up in the world.
I’ve often visited places and come back wishing I had a shirt, and some towns were so small they didn’t even sell postcards. As someone who stutters, I also wished I could point to a button to express myself. Or help a friend or loved one express themselves. Those moments inspire me to create designs that let people celebrate where they’ve been, show their pride, or share a little joy and meaning in their day.
Making art is about helping people feel seen and express themselves proudly, including those in the disabled community, whether living with invisible disabilities like autism, dementia, or stuttering. I’m proud to participate in Vancouver Pride, Osoyoos Pride Arts Festival, and support local artists across BC.
Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me gardening, cooking, wandering the woods, chasing auroras, cycling, or at live music and dance events. I love supporting neighbours, volunteering, and celebrating local communities: farmers, teachers, blue-collar workers, and fellow artists. I like my art the way I like life: colorful, unexpected, and unapologetically strange. I also love Coquitlam for its big trees, curious bears, and sense of calm.
Growing up as “the other” shaped how I move through the world. I lead with kindness, stand up for others, and give back through volunteering, supporting Indigenous causes, and caring for seniors with dementia or adults with autism. My designs celebrate queer pride and LGBTQIA+ GS2 identities, giving people ways to express themselves proudly
Thanks for supporting small business, Canadian creators, and the communities of BC and the PNW. You’re not just buying a shirt or pin: you’re sharing in a story and connection that matters. I create designs that celebrate queer pride, visibility, and self-expression, whether you’re looking for subtle nods, bold statements, or meaningful gifts to show your small town, regional, or big city pride. This is a safe, welcoming space: all identities and expressions are celebrated here.
A huge thank you to my Mother and to the rest of my family for all their support. Slava Ukraini!
The “604” in my shop name reflects my love for BC and the original Vancouver area code in the 90s and 2000s.
