I love when a vision becomes reality! And, I think Etsy provides the perfect collaborative platform to display and sell my handcrafted jewelry. I plan to participate in a variety of venues across the country and hope to meet lots of Etsy friends along the way. I will share those venues on this website. Fun memory: My sisters and I, along with our Mother, were sitting on the bedroom floor of the old farmhouse where we grew up in Michigan. Mom was in the beginning stages of dementia and wanted us girls to take turns selecting pieces of her jewelry. Therese wanted Mom's wedding ring, and Geralyn chose a ruby ring from Mom's recent boyfriend, I noticed a gold band that was marred; Mom said it was Grandma's wedding ring. Grandpa made it for her when they got married. Through the years, it broke. Grandpa took the ring out to his shop, welded it back together and flattened it with a hammer. I spoke up, "I want Grandma's wedding band; it comes with a story!" My younger sister whined, "I want something that tells a story!" Mom picked up another ring, tossed it at Judi and said, "Here, I was depressed one day and bought myself this ring! Jewelry always makes you happy!"
