A little bit about me!
Welcome to RocketPaperCo
After gaining an Art degree a few (many!) years ago I set up a business designing greetings cards. It was quite successful with me selling to lots of independent card shops including Paperchase, Harvey Nichols and Liberty and Selfridges in the UK and even exporting to the USA.
But there was lots of competition from the massive card manufacturers and there was only little old me trying to hold my own.
When I had my daughters Olive and Betty I decided to put the business on the back burner to reassess what exactly I wanted to do. I ended up teaching Baby Swimming for 8 years instead!
I loved teaching babies to swim but I was always craving to get back to what I really enjoyed and what made me truly happy and that was creating pretty things for lovely people.
When Lockdown hit and we lost all our household income it spurred me on to start creating again. I started developing ideas and designing in the summer of 2020 and launched RocketPaperCo in December 2020 with a few personalised designs. I have since added new products along the way.
I love creating and personalising prints for my lovely customers from my home studio in West Yorkshire with our little dog Nora always by my side.
