Footwear Design. Timeless Quality.

Rogante is a collection of Italian leather footwear, specializing in ankle boots for men, women and kids.

I started thinking about Rogante in late 2013 but it's only one year later that I felt I was ready to open a store.
Rogante is a natural step in my process, because I've been involved in design my whole life.
My father is a maker and, since I was a kid I was always trying to create something with my hands. Then I got passionate about design as a discipline, and I went to study it.
That was industrial design and I was learning to appreciate quality, craftsmanship and materials.

Indeed, that was a crucial moment because during that period I met some great artisans from my own city. Most of them were shoemakers because in Florence we have a lot of them (what does Gucci have in common with Prada, Pucci, Ferragamo and many more? The all manufacture here!), and I got passionate about shoes. And the materials that are used for shoes.

And eventually, I decided to start Rogante - a place where you can find timeless classics made only with leather from the best tanneries in Tuscany, at a great price.
