About My Ceramic Confections
In 2002 my mother and I started Whimsical Bliss Studios, Romancing the Teapot here on Etsy, because we wanted fun, feminine and whimsical serving pieces. We started making pieces we liked. Turns out others liked what we did too.
We had great fun making our pieces! Then one day at a craft show a lady exclaimed, They look good enough to eat, like ceramic confections". So that's what they became.
Then in 2008 I lost my mother to cancer. It was a sad and dark time. I didn't think I could go on. Didn't really want to, all by myself. But as I prepared to shut down some of my lovely clients urged me to go on.
So I thought I'd try.
But Mom always made the roses and I didn't learn because it never occurred to me she wouldn't be there. So I had to learn with my grandmother's help. (Please visit "Romantic Homes" on my website, www.WhimsicalBlissStudios.com, for the complete story.)
So now I have carried on and every rose is a hug and a kiss to my Mom, who is my biggest inspiration. May she always guide my heart and my hands.
I hope you enjoy my Ceramic Confections!

MY TEAPOT IS A STAR!
As of late 2015 my ceramic confection, "Sweet Little Teapot" was in the major motion picture "Trainwreck" with Amy Schumer. THe teapot is the centerpiece in the scene at "Alice's Tea Cup". As the scene pulls out a couple others of my teapots can be briefly seen as well.
