Hi friend — I’m Damaris, the heart behind ROMIA Collection.
I was born and raised in Romania, and years ago my parents packed up courage and dreams to bring our family to Canada. Today, I live here with the love of my life, our three grown kids, and four very spoiled cats.
Stories have always been my favorite treasure. I grew up listening to my grandfather’s tales by the fire — and ever since, I’ve been captivated by the way every heart carries a story worth telling.
In 2013, I traveled to Senegal, Africa, and it changed me forever. I gathered stories there — stories of strength, of bright-eyed children facing unthinkable hardship, of hope rising in places marked by pain. When I returned home, that experience stayed with me like a heartbeat. It inspired me to start Love Gives 3:16, a charity dedicated to helping those in poverty and suffering, especially in Romania. Because love — real love — is not just felt, it is given.
ROMIA is where beautiful things meet meaningful purpose. Everything here is “Pretty with a Purpose” — designed, created, and curated with intention.
