Simple, Smart and Pretty Party Goods.
After years of friends and relatives asking me to design invitations, logos and websites, I finally decided to pursue an Etsy Shop outside of my 9 to 5 graphic design job. The name "Rook" actually came from my husband. I had been struggling to come up with a short snappy phrase that encapsulated me and my style.
What I love about graphic design is that it is a visual puzzle to solve. You give me words and pictures, and I have to fit them nicely into a defined space. My husband commented how it was similar to a game of chess, and the name Rook was born. Not tooooo mention, it has pretty letterforms, an added bonus for a designer. Add that to the year I spent going to grad school in London, and my tagline "God Save the Ream" was incorporated.
Like so many other designers, I am eager to keep the printed invitation alive! So I'll quietly plug away making things by hand and licking envelopes the traditional way.

I am happy to customize a design for you, or make tweaks to an existing design in my shop! However, I am not keen on copying another designer's work. It is unethical and illegal. Please do not send me a link to another seller's shop to copy one of their products. It ain't gonna happen.

Do these fit bottled beer?
Yes, these can coolers do fit bottled beer, but there is a slight gap on either side of the bottle. These are designed to fit snugly on canned beer. I cannot vouch for the fit of Australian beers. Or, you can try my selection of bottle specific coolers here:
