Our Story
After 17 years as an elementary educator, I followed my heart to nurture my children, and play in the mud full time. I now homeschool my children and run my pottery business full time from my home pottery studio, making small batch ceramics for you! I find joy creating functional pottery as well as sculptural work. I am inspired by the natural world and often try to incorporate those themes in my work—each piece tells a story; no two pieces are ever the same. Pottery has been a beautiful journey of self-exploration and allowed me to be my full authentic self. It has been a blessing to work alongside my husband in both pottery and woodworking. Every piece is crafted and hand built by us. From forming and sculpting the clay, to mixing and applying the glazes, firing wares, to photographing and packaging finished pieces-- my hands have guided each piece through every process. Hand building with clay is a slow and intentional process, creating meaningful and imperfectly beautiful, unique pottery-- turning everyday moments into rituals. Together we have built a life that we love and can share with our children. It is a privilege to create pieces for others to cherish for years to come, art from our hands to yours.
