Based out of a small town in Indiana we are a faith based company of three. Our rope sign idea came from a pregnant family member designing her country/western themed nursery. She really wanted something to say the new baby's name above the crib but she wanted it made from real rope. Not able to find what she wanted and knowing her Aunts artistic abilities she asked if she could come up with something for her. Mulling it over for awhile in her creative mind our first rope sign ever was created for baby Cash. We decided to nocholantly list it under our picture frame business of MemoryScapes here on Etsy just to see the response. The demand quickly made us realize they needed their own shop identity thus Rope & Style was born. You now see our signs all over Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter, sold by Country Outfitters and even had a moment of fame as a scene prop on the Criminal Minds Television Show.

Our shop owner and Rope Artist left her 25 year long career as an HR manager for a local gospel company to honor her artistic gifts and follow her passion in creativity full time 5 years ago. She has been in the craft industry for over 25 years and a home interior faux finish design artist for over 10 years. Creating products people love that consistently bring excitement into people's homes and smiles onto people's faces fuels her fire to continually deliver the highest quality, best detailed, most creative and original piece she can.

Her husband of 36 years fully supports her endeavors and although still working a full-time career of his own he has taken on a second job becoming the craftsman of the backboards of our signs. His highly analytical engineering mind, meticulousness, and over 25 years experience in woodworking has helped yield the most durable constructed sign you will find. He takes great pride in his craftsmanship and admires his wife for having had the courage to follow her dreams. Helping and watching her business succeed gives him fulfillment.

Our last member is ME :) their daughter! When you send a request, have any question or reach out to communicate in any way online you are talking to me! I handle all the online aspects from ETSY, our Website, and all online marketing so they don't have to worry about the technology side of things. I enjoy working with each customer that has questions about our products. I like knowing they feel confident they have ordered exactly what they are wanting. So many signs are ordered for such fun moments in life like birthday parties, baby showers, wedding gifts, house warming gifts etc...I love feeling like the business I am a part of played a small part in making those special occasions just a little more special!
