I'm Rosanna, a designer and maker of leather goods, welcome to my shop. I love making bags and accessories from leather and many of my designs are inspired by Art Deco and geometric shapes.

After nearly 10 years as a Design & Technology teacher, I gave up the day job to pursue my love of leather craft. Within 2 years of setting up the business I was commissioned to write the now very popular leather craft book ‘Sew Luxe Leather’ published in 2018. The book comprises of 20 projects complete with step by step instructions, templates and detailed information on tools and suppliers to get students started in the craft (available in my Etsy shop!).

One of my passions is reducing waste and utilising leather in every form. I love to ‘upcycle’ leather products like old jackets turning them into handbags for their owners. This led me to taking part in the BBC TV programme ‘Money for Nothing’ where products destined for the tip are transformed by artisans like me. My debut appearance was in series 9, shown on November 5th 2020 on BBC1, with more to come in 2021 so watch this space!

I thoroughly enjoy being able to pass on my knowledge of leather craft to others by running a series of workshops at my Essex studio. But if you cannot make it in person I have a range of DIY kits available here that come with video tutorials and instructions so you can do them in the comfort of your own home.
