Beadweaving geek who loves colour!
I love learning and find the world around me endlessly fascinating. At school I was encouraged to focus on science and ill health meant art was left at the wayside. I had no creativity in my life for a long time until one day I did an evening course on jewellery making. We learnt to make earrings and string jewellery but there was one session where we made a spiral rope. That was it, I became hooked on beadweaving.
Some fifteen years later I am designing and making my own patterns. My inspirations are many and include science, nature, geometry, pop culture. I love colour! In previous parts of my life I learned to use AutoCAD and this is an important part of my design process, with the addition of Beadtool4.
My shop focuses on digital downloads, including peyote stitch tutorials but also colouring pages and also blank patterns for those who want a pattern to guide them but like to choose the size of their work and the colours.

I bead every pattern in my shop from the patterns that you receive and some of the more complicated ones get beaded multiple times until I am happy with the look and balance of colours. I don't use computer simulations to show you what pieces might look like. The main photos for each piece are taken using a light tent so the colours are as true as I can make them. The colours in my bead charts are not true to life, they are an approximation only. There is however no substitute for moving a piece of beadwork in the light and seeing how it reacts because the beads are so often more beautiful in real life.
