5 out of 5 starsBeautiful design and cuts perfectly, for me I use light-burn so needed to change cuts and order. But other than that this is the second kit I’ve cut and yet to build. I first made the 1/6 th scale Junkers JU87 Stuka and it all fits together perfectly. Once I get the planes put together and flight ready I’ll take detailed pictures and share them. I was a scale builder before they enjoyed cutting and building kits from plans. Since a strike I can’t do the cutting anymore but I bought a laser cutter and use it to make gifts and hobbies to sell. So I’ve tried to use it to make the cuts for me and they turn out perfect. So if you can’t do the cutting but enjoy building give them a call you can’t go wrong with them. I will definitely be ordering more plans off them in the future.

5 out of 5 starsGreat design, interesting subject. Looking forward to the build. Hope to see additional WW-II prototypes such as the XP-55 Ascender or the Kawasaki Ki-96. Highly recommend, but for experienced builders.

5 out of 5 starsFantastic design work, but this isn't for the weak at heart. You'll need your own laser to cut out all the parts, and a 3D printer. The cowl can be formed by shaping wood, or 3D printed. (STEP file available upon request) The negatives: There is no plans to print, so you must understand how to build a square frame. There is no CG provided, so you'll have to figure that out. There are no engine or motor recommendations provided. This is designed in metric, so take into account your access to wood sticks of the correct dimension, and a lot of 3mm(1/8") lite-ply. Communication has been excellent and this is my 3rd purchase from Royal Airframes. I look forward to further designs.

Thank you, Don! We're working on adding a CG reference to all our kits and will update your previous purchases as well. Plus, we will develop a PDF manual with a build guide, 3-view plans, and a parts placement map to make assembly easier.
