CAN I GET OVERNIGHT SHIPPING?

USPS OVERNIGHT EXPRESS provides shipping that can take one day or up to three, depending upon the time and day of the week your order is place. Orders ship from 98178. Example: If you place your order on a Thursday morning at 6 am PST and live in/close to an urban area, the USPS deadline for overnight packages can be met and you’ll receive your package the next day. If you’re rural, it may take an extra day. If place an order Saturday evening, depending on your zip code, the earliest you’ll receive it is Tuesday or Wednesday. I’m happy to provide a firm delivery date, send me a message and I’ll let you know time frames along with costs.

Are the wires sterling silver?

Yes, all French wires are solid 925 solid sterling silver and are marked as such. Clip-on backings are the exception, available only in plated sterling silver.

Can I get earrings with a clip-on backing?

Yes. All designs are available with clip-on closure. This option is listed on all designs.

Where do you source your supplies?

Whenever possible, materials are sourced from other Etsy sellers. All sterling wires are sourced from artists within the U.S. Independently owned art supply stores in Seattle are also primary product suppliers. Charms are sourced from artists and suppliers internationally. As of January 2025, I do not source any supplies from Amazon, Target, nor any companies connected with them.

I’m buying this as a gift. Can I include a note?

Of course. There is no charge. Write the message in the notes section of your order. (Make sure to include who it is to *and* who it is from (example: “Mom” or “From all of us.”)

Who owns and operates Ruby Apple Jewelry?

This business is owned by Seattle artist Christa Kriesel-Roth, who sells her jewelry on the Etsy platform. Ruby Apple Jewelry adheres to all Etsy policies but is not owned by Etsy.

Do you have a DEI statement?

As a queer woman living in the U.S., I am committed to supporting independently operated businesses, and in particular am motivated to partner with businesses owned by women of color and trans folks. I may have a small operating budget, but I will spend every penny of it fighting for inclusion.

Do you still sell Luna earrings?

No. J. K.Rowling’s anti-trans statements are so far from my personal values that I no longer create any Potter-themed fan art.
