The Beginning!!
I have done many things in my life and not all really fit who I am. However, when I first discovered String Art, I fell in love with it. I enjoy being able to create something with just a piece of wood, nails, and string. Its making a 2D picture come to life.
String Art began, for me, around April of 2015. I was looking for something to make my Nephew for his birthday and came across a String Art New England Patriots Sign, I decided that I would try to make one myself, and I did. Next thing I know my niece wanted a Panda Bear String Art, which I made her. Both of them still have those signs hanging in their rooms to this day 😊
I guess you can say, my work started with family, after I made those 2 string art signs, my family began making requests and started to encourage me in opening an online shop, and that is how I ended up here.
I genuinely love what I do! I love making a piece that nobody else has made and I enjoy making signs that people request. Its what makes everything fun. To me I don't really consider it work, because I actually enjoy doing this :)
This is also more than a "job", this is a way for me to help provide for my family, I have degenerative disc disease and this disease doesn't let me work outside the home, I can't sit or stand for very long, so this gives me the flexibility to work on my own schedule. I promise you I try to get your order to you within the time frame and I hope you love it.
