These little calendars are so cute and cheerful. I love having it on my bulletin board. And-- they make great gifts. I gave one to a friend in college who loved having something that didn't take up "much real estate" in their dorm room but added a little spunk and cheer to something as simple as checking the date. So lovely.

This design is beautiful, and shipping was fast! However, the paper is not card stock, its very thin, making the calendar look cheap. Also, for the size, the actual calendar part of the design is too tiny to read.

Hi Francesca! Thanks for the review :) The paper is recycled and originally chosen so that all 12 months could fit into the lucite stand... Which is not our best seller anymore! Thanks for pushing us to re-evaluate :) Happy Holidays!

Welcome to Zaffre Press!

We make art & type calendars to dress up your desk. Because sometimes it's nice not to have to look at screen in order to make a decision.

What's in a name? Zaffre (say it like this: ZAF-FUR) is a rich, deep, blue pigment. It's made by slow roasting cobalt ore and was often used in Victorian times to make blue stained glass.

Now that you know what we do and what we are about to do, here’s a bit more about us: Zaffre Press is a two person production. Linda is a graphic designer whose day job is running Ruby Red Design Studio; at Zaffre Press she’s photographer, designer, and tech guru. Steph is a scientist and artist who spends her days in a lab and nights at an easel; at Zaffre Press she’s the writer, the messy handwriting, and visual editor.

We like having ideas and doing something with them. Glad you stopped by!
