Alaska made snacks made with love in our kitchen for your pup.
11 years ago I wondered why the Interior of Alaska didn’t have a dog treat company. There’s barley for flour, meats such as reindeer and salmon, and so many veggies dogs love. The current recipe is barley flour, eggs, flax seed, ingredient, and water. It’s a very simple recipe especially for dog with allergies. I started baking test batches in my tiny little dry cabin and trying them out on my dogs and friends dogs and poof…started a biz! 2019 I added a hemp oil line that’s been extremely popular and so happy they are helping pups as well as snacking them.
I’m not a very technically gifted human, but time to put more effort into my Etsy shop. After years of big wholesale accounts and crazy Christmases and summers, COVID helped simplify. Work smarter, not harder and wow does arthritis twist your arm too. We’re on the shelves at Alaska Bowl Company and Rebel Roots in Fairbanks and AK Bark in Anchorage. My Etsy orders this year were like little smiles for others also stuck inside all over the US as well as their dogs. They kept me going too! My hope was my silly homemade cards would bring some light where it was dark because it gets really dark here in Fairbanks, Alaska and I can completely relate. Why I’ve really appreciated my Etsy over the 10 years I’ve had it. I’ve sent packages from Alaska to all 50 states. I have the best job ever.
Thanks to everyone for supporting the dream over the decade.
