Example of our orders
Alaska made snacks made with love in our kitchen for your pup.
11 years ago I wondered why the Interior of Alaska didn’t have a dog treat company. There’s barley for flour, meats such as reindeer and salmon, and so many veggies dogs love. The current recipe is barley flour, eggs, flax seed, ingredient, and water. It’s a very simple recipe especially for dog with allergies. I started baking test batches in my tiny little dry cabin and trying them out on my dogs and friends dogs and poof…started a biz! 2019 I added a hemp oil line that’s been extremely popular and so happy they are helping pups as well as snacking them.
I’m not a very technically gifted human, but time to put more effort into my Etsy shop. After years of big wholesale accounts and crazy Christmases and summers, COVID helped simplify. Work smarter, not harder and wow does arthritis twist your arm too. We’re on the shelves at Alaska Bowl Company and Rebel Roots in Fairbanks and AK Bark in Anchorage. My Etsy orders this year were like little smiles for others also stuck inside all over the US as well as their dogs. They kept me going too! My hope was my silly homemade cards would bring some light where it was dark because it gets really dark here in Fairbanks, Alaska and I can completely relate. Why I’ve really appreciated my Etsy over the 10 years I’ve had it. I’ve sent packages from Alaska to all 50 states. I have the best job ever.
Thanks to everyone for supporting the dream over the decade.

Kristen Sullivan
Owner, Baker
I moved up to Alaska in 1998 for school at UAF and tried to move back to lower 48 I swear, but I’m not fit to live in civilization anymore as they say round here. I’m better in the woods with dogs baking dog snacks for YOUR dog.

Dozer
CEO, Head Of Quality Control
Dozers gotcha date was Oct 8, 2010 and he’s definitely eaten his way to the top of this company. He thinks it should be named after him not his sister for sure. No snack safe, no cookie unturned, his 11 year career is legendary in the dog snack world

Frequently asked questions
Who is Ruby?
Ruby was my first dog on my own and was a beautiful black lab puppy I found at the Fnsb shelter one day. We lost her a year after launch so I left the name in her honor. We have since named our huge commercial mixer, Ruby, cuz she makes the snacks. ❤️
